Morning Tubs and into December we go!

It was so nice meeting with everyone and discussing your child's progress so far this year during conferences.  It is always a pleasure to connect with each of you one on one. 

Morning Tub Time

We have been enjoying our morning tubs.  Each morning the children can choose a tub activity.  They are able create and build  with friends.  Its a great way to start the day!  Here are some of the latest materials that the children are using to create.

Science

 In science we recently used cuttings to try to start a new plant.  We learned that we can grow a new plant from existing plants.  We put our cuttings in water and will watch and observe how these grow.  I am so excited that roots are starting to grow!  Our kiddos really do have some green thumbs!

Math

In math we have switched gears and we are now focusing on subtraction.  We are learning strategies that we can use to subtract.  We will continue to work on addition and will also be learning about related facts and fact families.   Here are some of the math games we are playing to help us learn our subtraction facts:
