Welcome
to the first grade! I am anxiously
awaiting the start of the school year and the opportunity to teach your
children! I anticipate a smooth
transition from kindergarten to first grade. This is the first of many newsletters you will receive this
year. I hope you will find the
information helpful and can expect to be informed about classroom curriculum
and activities, volunteer opportunities, field trips, etc. Please read on for important
information regarding the first day of school!

for a 3 ring notebook (teacher will purchase so that books will be uniform)
In addition to the school supplies listed, your child will need a backpack. All other supplies will be provided in our classroom. Thank you so much for your support!
SNACK
We have a snack time each day. Please send a simple snack for your child to eat along with a spoon or fork if the snack requires one. Sending in a reusable water bottle for your child is both eco-friendly and encourages more time in the classroom for learning.

be sure that your child knows if and/or what he/she is to buy each day.
I
hope this newsletter has answered some of your questions regarding the first
