October Fun!

In writers workshop we did a museum walk and enjoyed reading all our classmates small moment stories that they have been working on.  We gave them compliments on their writing also!

Science

We  went outside and collected different leaves  from the playground.  We talked about all the different shapes of the leaves we found and the variation of the different leaves.

 Math

We continue to work on strategies for addition and subrtaction.  We worked with our part part mats and practiced how we can think addition when we are solving a subrtaction problem.  We also used our ten frames to come up with different combinations to make 10.  Knowing our combinations that make 10 help us with our addition.
